Identity and edition
This is the Chinese original of GB 2762-2025. The cover gives 2 September 2025 as its issue date and 2 September 2026 as its implementation date. The foreword replaces GB 2762-2022 and amendment 1. The National Health Commission’s Announcement No. 6 of 2025 lists the standard among the national food safety standards it released.
Verified honey provision
Section 4.1 and Table 1 express lead limits as lead (Pb) in mg/kg. The honey row (蜂蜜), in the other-food category on printed page 4, gives 0.5 mg/kg. Section 3.4 states the general edible-portion basis. The equivalent concentration is 500 µg/kg; this unit conversion changes neither the food scope nor the measurement basis.
Evidence Fitness and limitations
The primary instrument supports its exact regulatory provisions and edition dates. It is not an occurrence survey and provides no measured honey concentrations or evidence of health effects.
