Origin discrimination of red jujube based on strontium isotope and 7 elements

Kang and colleagues measured elements in pitted red jujube for origin discrimination. Samples were pitted and freeze-dried, so the basis is freeze-dried. Table 3 is mg/kg. The text layer used a non-decimal glyph for the radix. Digits were not changed. All five origins share letter a for these metals. No metal certified reference material is described. Chromium is not hexavalent. Aluminum, arsenic, mercury, and tin are not in this table.

Methods (brief)

ICP-MS on freeze-dried pitted fruit. The paper is in Chinese with an English abstract.

Evidence fitness

The five rows support a freeze-dried red jujube note by origin. They do not support a single pooled jujube value or fresh fruit.

Limitations

Freeze-dried basis. The radix glyph in the text layer was read as a decimal point. No metal CRM.
