The fifth edition of Uruguay’s Reglamento Bromatologico Nacional includes general and particular inorganic-contaminant limits for foods, plus food-contact-material provisions. HMI records the food contaminant rows and the fillable ceramic Pb/Cd migration rows that are expressed in mg/kg. Surface-area migration rows in mg/dm2 and soluble-percent colorant rows are gap-logged because they cannot be represented in the ug/kg register without changing basis.

The five most recent substantive edits to this page, classified major (evidence or structure moved), correction (a published value or statement was wrong and has been fixed), or minor (narrative rewritten without changing the underlying evidence).
