Ogimoto and colleagues measured aluminium in Japanese foods made with aluminium-containing additives. This note uses the two doughnut rows only.
Key numbers
Table 2 prints Content (mg/g). Doughnut-1 is 0.03 mg/g. Doughnut-2 is ND, and ND is defined as below 0.01 mg/g. The paper attributes the aluminium to baking powder. Lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, nickel, chromium, and tin are not reported for doughnuts.
Methods (brief)
Aluminium was measured in foods that contained aluminium food additives. A recovery table is printed (Table 1). The doughnut unit is mg/g as printed. This page does not convert mg/g to another unit.
Evidence fitness
The two rows support an aluminium occurrence note for those doughnut samples. They do not support a multi-metal doughnut profile or a certification limit.
Limitations
One row is below 0.01 mg/g. The table does not print a doughnut sample size next to the two rows. The unit mg/g is the printed unit.
