This is the 1 July 2025 edition of the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, section 141.62, maximum contaminant levels for inorganic contaminants. The antimony line is an enforceable drinking-water maximum for public water systems. It is not a diaper limit and not a textile limit.
Key numbers
Section 141.62(b)(11) prints Antimony 0.006 in the column headed MCL (mg/l) (PDF p.2). The same table prints beryllium as 0.004. Paragraph (c) identifies best available technologies for the inorganic maximums in paragraph (b), except fluoride. The antimony row of that technology table prints BAT identifiers 2 and 7 (PDF p.2).
Methods (brief)
The text is the annual CFR compilation published by the Government Publishing Office, revised as of 1 July 2025. It restates the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. It is not a new occurrence survey.
Evidence fitness
The page supports the federal drinking-water MCL of 0.006 mg/l for antimony and the BAT identifiers printed beside it. It does not support a federal limit for antimony in diapers or textiles, a dermal dose, or a health-effects sentence. Those are not in this section.
Limitations
The unit is printed mg/l. This page does not convert it. The maximum contaminant level goal is a different section, 141.51, and is not this table.
