Caridi and colleagues measured metals by ICP-MS and radionuclides in twenty Calabrian DOC wines. Table 1 marks S3, S13, S14, S17, S18, S19, and S20 as white. Rose and red rows, and rows with no typology, are not used. Arsenic is 75As, not inorganic. Nickel, aluminum, mercury, chromium, and tin are not in Table 5.
Key numbers
Table 5, µg/L, mean of ten, no standard deviation.
Limits of quantification are 0.5 µg/L for lead, 1 µg/L for arsenic, and 0.1 µg/L for cadmium. No metal recovery percentage is printed. The DOC name for S20 is not assigned because the place name sits between S19 and S20 in the text layer.
Methods (brief)
Wine was measured as it was, without treatment, by ICP-MS.
Evidence fitness
These seven rows support a white-wine lead, arsenic, and cadmium note. They do not support the red or rose rows.
Limitations
No metal recovery percentage. Arsenic is not speciated. Some DOC names are missing on the typology row.
