This source is an unofficial English translation of Japan’s Specifications and Standards for Food, Additives, etc., covering foodstuffs, implements, containers and packaging, toys, and detergents as last amended by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notice No. 529 on 27 November 2008.
The routeable food-contaminant values captured from this PDF are the tin limits for soft drink beverage components and powdered drink beverage components. Both subsections state that tin content must not exceed 150.0 ppm. The same subsections require arsenic, lead, and cadmium not to be detectable, but those requirements are not loaded into the numeric register because they do not state a single numeric maximum level.
