The Cosmetics Rules, 2020 apply to cosmetics under India’s Drugs and Cosmetics Act. The extractable rules include impurity limits for permitted cosmetic colours and mercury limits for eye-area cosmetics and other finished cosmetics. The arsenic trioxide line, grouped heavy-metals line, and colouring-use prohibitions for lead and arsenic compounds are documented on the regulation page and gap-logged where they cannot be represented as species-specific elemental concentration rows.
