Canada SOR/2016-193 sets heavy-metal content limits for surface coating materials and for removable stickers, films, or surface coating materials applied to accessible parts of specified products. The loaded rows cover total lead at 90 mg/kg in dried surface coating material, total mercury at 10 mg/kg in dried surface coating material, and total lead at 90 mg/kg in applied stickers, films, or coatings on accessible parts of furniture, products for children, pencils, and artists brushes. Values are converted from mg/kg to ug/kg while preserving the dried-sample and applied-material basis.
