Scope

Annex I, Part 14 of Malaysia’s cosmetic-control guidelines sets heavy-metal test limits for cosmetic products. The same annex also lists microbiological test limits, including a separate microbiological category for products for children under 3 years, eye-area products, and mucous-membrane products.
