Scope

The same criteria also state that utensils, containers, and packages made of plastics, regenerated cellulose, paper, and starch must not contain more than 100 mg/kg as the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium. That combined sum is not split into species-specific register rows.

How tested

The composition limits refer to residue test methods in the MFDS standard: lead residue, antimony residue, and related methods in Part IV. The separate part 2 PDF in the manifest is treated as a test-method companion rather than as a separate limit instrument.

Enforcement posture

The requirements are statutory Korean food-contact standards. Food-contact metals and tin plating for utensils, containers, and packages must comply with the listed composition limits.
